Oh the fun has begun at the Duzan house! The babies have been standing and cruising the last month and their personalities are really starting to show!
I guess I remember meal time with Soph and the mess that was left to clean up three times a day, but nothing could prepare me for the aftermath of these two! Seriously, I can't believe the amount of baby food and finger foods that end up in diapers, in hair, on the floor, and of course, all over the three of us. I sit them facing one another thinking that would help promote good eating habits. Turns out the only thing it promotes is their new raspberry technique with mouthfuls of food spraying one another. Would have taken pictures but there is no safe place in the kitchen during our mealtimes! But oh the smiles and giggles during lunch and dinner...it makes it all worth the four baths a day and mopping every night!!!
Pres is so lovable...and ticklish! He has a personality for sure. I will start to feed him and at the last moment pull the baby spoon back and smile and he immediately giggles at me. Its like he knows I'm trying to have fun and is all about it! And at 10 mths, daddy gave him his first haircut. Yes, sheers and all. And no, I was not in the room b/c I couldn't watch. I am fine with haircuts, and have actually had to cut the top of his hair a few times, but I also love it and can't believe he had so much to cut! The top was off limits, so not a huge difference, but it just means these babies are growing out of being babies:((( Oh and four teeth came through in one week during these pics, so no wonder we were losing gallons of drool! Six for our champ but he's still in last place compared to his sisters at this age!
And our Vivie is also verrrry mobile these days! She's like a speed racer when she crawls and LOVES to get into everything! She is sporting curls these days and I think her eyes are going to be a mix between green and brown. She is unique in so many ways, but loves her big sis more than mommy and daddy I think most days, and keeps Pres on his toes by taking anything he has as her own. I really can't believe how quick the last few months as gone by with all the milestones these two are going through. She is a stair climber and loves patty cake and peekaboo...all the time!! And Vivie is working on teeth #9 and 10 so teeth brushing with her is interesting, and a little painful!
In mid-climbing she is the happiest little tutu!! Oh I don't think there are enough baby gates for these two. Big sis is constantly acting as "mom" and telling them they shouldn't be in certain parts of the house. While I was taking this pic, Soph was behind me having parked her stroller on the stairs and pointing at Vivie telling her "No no, Vivie. No no." You can tell how concerned she is! My life makes me laugh. A lot...
